Good quality X-rays are still a fundamental part of lameness investigations and we realize that it is not convenient for you to have to travel to a hospital facility to get X-rays done. The solution is simple: mobile digital radiography. We have a Cuattro Slate DR system supplied and supported by Celtic SMR. This state of the art digital radiography system allows us to take high quality X-rays at your stable, producing instant pictures for a rapid diagnosis.

The Cuattro Slate Digital Radiography System

Unlike old-fashioned plate and film systems, the Slate DR uses a digital plate connected directly to a touchscreen notepad. Images are captured immediately and can be checked to make sure they are just the right views needed. When all the radiographs needed have been taken, the images can be quickly transferred to a high resolution laptop for analysis and diagnosis.
